Instead of holding our own car show this year, we decided to help the Ridgeway BIA organize the Ridgefest Car Show, which will take place on July 9 from 8am to 4pm.  Admission is free and you are free to come & go as you please. We were able to find enough sponsorship to cover dash plaques for the first 250 cars registering at the show.  Enter via Highland Drive at Gorham Rd and we'll have some signs up to point the way on Friday night.

The net proceeds go to Tender Wishes Foundation, which is a all-volunteer-run charity that seeks out and grants wishes to children in the Niagara Region who suffer from a potentially life-threatening illness.  We'll have a Rods & Relics member with a bucket collecting donations to Tender Wishes at the show entrance. If you're able, please give generously.

With the COVID-19 panedemic ban on large gatherings, our previous venue (Stevensville Conservation Area) has had a backlog of events for 2022 so the park was fully booked before we contacted the Conservation Club.  We had started looking another venue and were fortunate to be asked organize the Ridgefest show this year.  We're hoping to come close to the great job the previous organizer did in previous years.
